Geburtstag // Birthday

Letztes Wochenende war ich auf einer wunderschönen Geburtstagsfeier meiner besten Freundin. Am Anfang der Party hatten wir einige Probleme, das Feuer  anzubekommen und die Marshmallows zu rösten. Marshmallows zu machen ist schwieriger als man denkt:

1. Man muss warten bis Glut entsteht, ansonsten verbrennen die Marshmallows anstatt zu schmelzen, werden schwarz und schmecken nach Rauch.
2. Man muss genau den richtigen Abstand zum Feuer finden, um die Marshmallows nicht zu verbrennen oder ins Feuer fallen zu lassen
3. Das größte Problem ist es, sie korrekt zu essen! Wenn der Marshmallow warm ist und in Teilen leicht geschmolzen, klebt er an alles und jedem! Daher ist Konzentration nötig, um den Marshmallow zügig in den Mund zu befördern.

Last weekend I was at the most wonderful birthday party I have ever been to. It was the birthday party of my best friend and we had some adventures with putting on the fire and melting the marshmallows. Melting marshmallows is harder than everyone might think:
First you have to wait until you have blaze otherwise the marshmallows will burn, get dark and taste like ash.
Second you have to find the exact distance where to put your marshmallow or they will fall into the fire.
And at least the biggest problem is eating them! When they are hot and parts of them are melted they will go everywhere apart from your mouth. And they are really sticky!
