I recently watched the video Becoming You by Troye Sivan and was very impressed of the thoughts of him. And I have to say that he's bloody right!
Still at one point I thought that life isn't only about creating yourself, it's also about finding yourself, because before you can create yourself the way you want to, you definitely have to find out who you want to be.
I can't say which part is harder but I really look up to people who truly live the life they want to live and are who they are because I think, at least for me, it can be very hard to fully be yourself.
Why?
Because there are these people that pick on you, that seem to only see your flaws and constantly remind you of these. I don't really wanna use the word society in this context, because all of us are society and always blaming our ''crap society'' makes no sense to me but society seems to want to tell you who you have to be.
How you should be.
And if you yourself don't even know who to be yet, it's hard to just ignore these ''flawpickers'' because you aren't a solid formed human being yet.
But videos like the one of Troye Sivan motivate me to go on and become who I want or even am meant to be.
Be yourself, everybody else is already taken.
Wanting to be someone else is a waste of who you are.
I can totally realte to you. But to be honest i think that these people who pick on people and "bully" you are actually really insecure and vulnerbale. This way they try to get respected by others, they try and make themselves look like the couldn't care less. You know that i think, i think that these bullies got bullied as well at one point, the thing i though that they never learned how to really deal with it. They just started to "bully back", because for them it was the only way to fight back. It's probably normal them, they don't even know any different.
AntwortenLöschenSo if anyone ever tries to bully or pick on you again, i swear i will knock them down. (At least i'll try)
